The cottage has ocean frontage on the Penobscot Bay, and low tide brings a huge beach to explore with tidal pools and shorebirds. Watch the sunset over Islesboro and the Camden Hills from the screened in porch and grill out on the patio. Maybe even catch a glimpse of one of the bald eagles that frequent a roost over the shore.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including a king, queen and twin bunk bed rooms. The kitchen is well stocked for your cooking adventures including beautiful cookware, a cast iron pan, lobster pot, and Kitchen Aid Mixer. Enjoy a beverage from the Chemex or Ascaso Steel Duo espresso machine while waking up for the day. A Peloton bike is also available for your use (with your own bike shoes and login).
Explore Castine which is minutes away. Hike around Dyce Head Lighthouse and Witherle Woods. Stroll the quaint town streets and stop by Compass Rose Books or one of the art galleries around town. Grab a bite at Dennett’s Wharf or the Pub at Pentagoet Inn, both newly operated with creative energy by New York- native proprietors.
