Greene’s Corners is a renovated, classic New England Farmhouse. It sits on nearly two private acres of expansive fields and woods. One can hear the murmuring brook that traces the side of the property down to the bay. Take a walk through the field to our private beach and shoreline and swim or kayak in Blue Hill Bay or just enjoy the gulls, loons and nature while watching sailboats and lobster boats in the distance. When the tide is out you can wade your way to a small island just off shore.

All this and yet you are also within walking distance of downtown Blue Hill where you will find shopping, restaurants, the town library and our General Store, Merrill & Hinckley’s. Venture a bit further to Kneisel Hall to enjoy chamber music. The organically oriented Blue Hill Co-Op is now located on South Street (along with the town market, Tradewinds) for specialty and last minute items to create a a fabulous Maine meal.

The kitchen still has the original tin ceiling and tin walls surrounding all the contemporary conveniences. There are beautiful hard wood floors downstairs and the living spaces are bright and tastefully appointed.
